matts growing post

A definition for percent is that it's out of 100, It also can be converted into a decimal, fraction, and also a ratio. A symbol for percent is % and it would look like this if there was a # in front of it 54%


2) three/fifths is alike as the ratio 3:2 3+2=5 3/5, 60% 3 / 5=0.6x100=60% 0.6 5 / 3=0.6


3) 35% of 80

100 divided by 100=1%
80 divided by 100=0.8 0.8 x 35=28
80 divided by 80=
1x100=100
100 / 80=0.8
0.8 x 35=28



4) This post is just talking about how to show diffrent ways of getting a percent

6A) 16 divided by 4= 4
4x10=40
the # is 40

6B) 0.3 x 120=36
