(9) Find the mean median and mode of the following sets of numbers.
1.) 2,5,7,8,3,6,4,5,1
2.) 12,4,16,22,19,4,
3.) 78,45,45,78,60,75

Mean: The sum of set of data and divided by the number of pieces of data. Also known as the average.
ex: 1, 2, 3,= 1+2+3= 6÷3= 2

Median: The middle number of a set of data. if there are two, you add them and divide it by 2.
ex: 1, 2, 3, or if 1,2, 2, 3= 2+2= 4÷2=2

Mode: The number that shows the most.
ex. 3, 4, 4, 7, 12, 12, 12= mode:12
or in some cases there are more than one mode
ex. 21, 23, 23, 28, 33, 40, 40= mode: 23 & 40

1.) 1,2,3,4,5,5,6,7,8
1+2+3+4+5+5+6+7+8= 41÷9= 4.5
Mean: 4.5
Mode: 5
Median: 5


2.) 4,4,12,16,19,22
4+4+12+16+19+22= 77÷6= 12.83
Mean: 12.83
Mode: 4
Median: 14


3.) 45,45,60,75,78,78
45+45+60+75+78+78= 381÷6= 63.5 Mean: 63.5
Mode: 45 & 78
Median: 14
